SYNOPSIS
Extinction is a dystopian thriller set in 2030 and documents the aftermath of the Corna Virus, after is has already wiped out the majority of the worlds population. The world is desolate and empty; only a handful of survivors are still alive. Those that remain are desperate and forced into difficult situations. In a dog eat dog world our film follows the survival of two brothers and a friend, and the dangers they encounter. Throughout the film the characters face difficult situations mainly inflicted by sheer human desperation
Synopsis
CAST
Tom Macleod has performed all over the country in theatre productions from Twelfth Night to Alladin. Tom also works on the other side of the camera: as a director, his film debut 'A Serpent's Sting' has been followed by his current successful production 'Extinction'. He brings a sense of cosmopolitan charisma to the production.
Initially a youth footballer of considerable promise, Lucas went inro acting and is now is a bright young actor from Cobham, Surrey. After a few years struggling to find acting opportunities. he secured a role in the popular television programme, Eastenders. Lucas has made further appearances in award-winning films like, 'A Serpent's Sting'. Lucas brings to the role of the survivor in Extinction the qualities of grit and determination.
Liam was born in Walton-Upon-Thames and has shown a passion for the film industry from a young age, appearing in a few child actor roles including Oliver Twist in a West End production. In Extinction, he takes the role of the attacker.
Alfie Beill specialises in martial arts film work. He used this to his advantage in 'Karate Kid' in the well-known fight scene where is up against Jaden Smith. He was able to use his skills in his most recent production 'A Serpent's Sting' which attracted attention from local festival organisers. Alfie plays the part of one of the two survivors in 'Extinction'.
